Daniel McBrien is currently a Global Programs Fellow with SeriousFun Children's Network, and organization which provides free psycho-social programming and support to children living with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. Based in Connecticut, USA, Dan travels for large parts of the year, and has worked in Africa, Asia, Europe and the US. He specializes in capacity building and training, and is a passionate advocate for youth-led development initiatives. Prior to his role at SeriousFun, he worked as a trainer and recruiter for Restless Development (London). He is originally from Northern Ireland, and holds a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences & Comparative Religion from the University of Manchester. On a day off, you can find Daniel listening to cringe-worthy pop music.
