Chileshe Chaunga has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Developmental Studies obtained from Copperstone University. Ms. Chaunga has more than 3 years of applied social qualitative and quantitative research skills coupled with data entry skills in. She worked for the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) as an exceptions handler before joining the Policy Monitoring and Research Centre (PMRC) one of Zambia’s top public policy think tanks. Her work as a Researcher at PMRC encompasses various areas in enshrined in the organisations Social Development and Livelihoods thematic area. Some of the notable topic areas include child rights and participation in the policy making process, social protection and good governance(improved information sharing for good governance and a improved democratic practices).


 
In addition to the classified areas of expertise, Ms. Chaunga possesses knowledge and interest in general legislative and policy reforms in key areas such as the youth empowerment and gender in development.
