Reuben Moyo is an Information and Communication Technology(ICT) specialist who works as an Assistant Lecturer in ICT at Mzuzu University, Malawi. He also serves as the Executive Director of Mlatho Tech Organisation which offers various technological solutions in Information and Communication Technology for Development(ICT4D) in areas like governance, agriculture, tourism and health. As a passionate ICT specialist, Reuben is a volunteer at ProBono Malawi, an organisation that offers services to parties or institutions that are in need of such services. His interest in ICT4D in governance led Reuben into designing and implementation of a local electronic voting system that is used by Mzuzu University Students Union for elections of office bearers. Reuben is currently working on several projects with Centre for Youth and Development(CYD) organisation on training the youth on basic usage of computers. He also works as an IT consultant for CYD. Reuben’s current research activity is on finding technological solutions on how to make local governments transparent and accountable on the use of public resources. Reuben is an Msc student in ICT by research and holds Bsc in ICT from Mzuzu University (2014).
