'''Yara Damaj''' recently graduated with a Masters of Arts in Public Policy and International Affairs from the American University of Beirut (AUB). She has also completed her undergraduate studies at AUB in both: Psychology and Political Studies with a minor in Human Rights and Transitional Justice. She has extensive experience working in academic research where she has participated in different studies relating to political and social psychology. She also has experience in the NGO sector; she served on the board of the Lebanese national association of CISV International, a volunteer-based international non-governmental which works on youth empowerment and whose mission is to inspire action for a more just and peaceful world. She is currently serving her term as National Association Representative for the same organization.
