Short Bio
John Geary has joined Future Worlds Center in 2016 as a Peer Empowerment and Support Mentors of the Reinventing Democracy project.
He is the peer mentor of Nikola Pribisova from the European Initiative and Apollo Murigi from the African Initiative.
John has Master’s degrees in International Affairs, Economics and Environmental Management and has worked as a teacher, consultant for the World Bank on climate change, translator, researcher and election observer with the EU and the OSCE in Asia, Latin America and Africa. He has lived in Europe, China, the USA and several countries in Latin America.
Currently, John is working as a university teacher in China.

- Consultant for the Word Bank
- Consultant for Kotler Marketing, doing market analysis for South America
- University teacher in Economics at Miami-Dade College
- Election Observer with EU and OSCE Election Observation Missions
- English Teacher – various Chinese universities
- Intern with the WHO and the Inter-American Development Bank
