European Foundation for Democracy 's goal is to ensure that the universal values of the Enlightenment – political pluralism, respect for individual rights, government by democracy – remain the founding precepts of European security and prosperity.

Some of the core work that European FFoundation of Democracy have to do is empowering credible pro-democratic voices, creating practical tools to support front-line professionals, fostering leadership skills among young refugees and also an important and promise work is to educate and inform policy-makers, officials and politicians about their work.
