Lina Toumi is a Shadow Participant of Takwa Makhlouf. Lina Toumi is a 24 years old girl and has studied Languages teaching. Lina Toumi believes in the values of democracy as freedom, solidarity, equity. She is working as a coordinator for the professional integration of women migrants in France. For Lina, citizens are guarantors of the democracy: their organization, activism, participation to the social life is crucial to insure the well-respect of the democracy from the politics. Therefore, she is active in various organizations and particularly, she is the General Secretary of FEMYSO (Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organizations) which is an organism regularly consulted on issues pertaining to European Muslim Youth by the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Council of Europe, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the United Nations and a host of other significant organisations at the European and international level.
