Naci en Santa Rosa (La Pampa - Argentina) en el año 1993. A mis 15 años me involucre en el servicio a mi comunidad a través de  Rotary Internacional. Esta institución me oriento a tener una visión más amplia de los problemas que aquejan a la humanidad, la dimensión y alcance que pueden tener nuestras actividad individuales en la reducción de desigualdades sociales. Estas razones me motivaron elegir la Lic. en Relaciones Internacionales como carrera de grado.  
 
Mi tesis de licenciatura me impulso a investigar acerca de la labor de las Organizaciones de la Sociedad Civil dentro de organismos internacionales, espacios tradicionalmente reservados para los Estados, en defensa de Derechos Humanos. De la investigación nacieron varios trabajos cuales fueron presentados en Congresos nacionales e internacionales y posteriormente publicados.  
 
Nuri Silay studied Industrial Engineering in Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus and then completed his PgDip in Business Information Technology in Kingston University London. He worked in private sector to manage financial and intellectual resources of some companies. Then he moved to civil society sector with the sense of social responsibility. He worked in various EU and UNDP funded conflict resolution, peace building and reconciliation projects for the economic and social sustainability of Cyprus and MENA region.
