'''Ajnish Ghimire''' is an aspiring changemaker and global health advocate. He has been working on public health issues that are prevalent in his country Nepal. He started his journey from Rotaract Club of Kathmandu, a youth wing of Rotary International Nepal and Bhutan District 3292. | |||
His story begins with a startup local organization, Solidarity International. He worked as a coordinator for as many medical camps during Nepal earthquake (2015). His coordination ran over 8 districts of Nepal which was severely affected by the earthquake. These camps benefitted more than 1000 people and more than 1700 families. He is the Director of Humanitarian Affairs for Solidarity International. He is also the Executive Director for Solidarity Group. He worked as a President for Sunway Youth for Sustainable Development at Sunway University, Malaysia. He advocates the importance of sustainable development goals. | |||
Ajnish believes in the power of youth. With this spirit in mind, he has received many awards and recognition in Nepal as well as in other countries. He has delegated his representative from Nepal in various international conferences and media. | |||
Recently, he was selected for Global Youth Ambassador at TheirWorld – A World at School, that advocates the importance of education around the world. His pilot project with Solidarity International, "Project HOPE: Education for Nepal" provides the scholarship to the community-based school students from rural parts of Nepal. | |||
He plans to work with World Health Organization (WHO) on health policy making in Nepal and educate the public about the implications of infectious diseases. | |||
Ajnish is pursuing Bachelor(Hons) of Science in Medical Biotechnology(Biomedical Sciences) from Sunway University. | |||

Ajnish Ghimire is a core participant of the Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era - Australasia co-Laboratory.
Ajnish Ghimire is an aspiring changemaker and global health advocate. He has been working on public health issues that are prevalent in his country Nepal. He started his journey from Rotaract Club of Kathmandu, a youth wing of Rotary International Nepal and Bhutan District 3292.
