Mukandi Siame is a Shadow Participant of Jedidah Millapo. Jedidah is one of the Core participants of the African Initiative. Mukandi is based in Zambia.
Mukandi Siame is a social worker with experience in corporate communication and media
relations. She is a University of Zambia, 2015 Alumni with a Bachelor's in Social Work. While
earning her degree, she interned at Habitat For Humanity, Child Fund Zambia and The Ministry
of Health's Chilenje Clinic all while contributing to the Nkwazi Inflight Magazine and The Global Zambian magazine.
Mukandi possesses skill and experience that spans from social policy analysis, research, communication for development, to community work and public relations. Mukandi has been writing since the millennium began and won the Zambian Women Writers' Award given by the National Arts Council of Zambia in 2016.
Mukandi celebrates her life as a multi faceted woman still in the process of becoming. She believes the power of effective communication is life giving and has immeasurable potential. Her professional aspiration is to be an author and professional communications consultant, thereby working with institutions to contribute to the betterment of her nation and the world.
