Susan Handa Onyango was born 27 years ago in Nairobi, Kenya. After attending primary and secondary education in Kitale and Kampala, a Bachelor’s Degree in international Relations and Diplomacy was awarded and later a Master’s Degree in International Conflict Management from University of Nairobi in 2014. As an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 2011 and 2012, her career path started and as a short term independent contractor at Daproim as an online researcher (2012), went ahead to work in a workshop at African Virtual University in August 2014 and in July 2015 at the 2nd International Conference for the African Virtual University at the research department. Towards the end of July 2015 to early October she was an events assistant at the eLearning Innovations Conference and currently an Assistant Sessional Lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya, School of Governance and Public policy, a Country Communications Manager for the African Region in the Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era Project. Susan Handa likes photography, reading, travelling and socializing.
