Maroua Khayati is a Shadow Participant of Takwa Makhlouf. Maroua Khayati was born in Tunisia in 1993 and has a bachelor in private law obtained from the University of Law and Political Sciences of Tunis. Active in the civil society, she is involved strongly in the defense of the democracy, and especially people’s rights with the Layers Without Borders (Avocats Sans Frontières) organization and with the Tunisian Organism for education and family. Her experiences and knowledge of the law aspects of democracy and of the Tunisian context made her willing to give her word and participate to the Reinventing Democracy project.
