Vigilant Vijimbo Mtambo is a Shadow Participant of James Gondwe. James is one of the Core participants of the African Initiative. Vigilant is based in Malawi, Africa.

Personal Summary Highly talented and skilled ICT personnel with extensive knowledge in installation and maintenance of computerized equipment with the necessary drive and determination needed to learn and fix complex ICT related issues. Possessing effective organizational skills and excellent working knowledge of various technologies and having a commitment to keep up to date with the latest developments.

Achievements Vigilant has imparted more than 100 people with computer skills, more than 50 people with Mathematical solving skills. Vigilant successfully won gold, silver and bronze in the following games Draft, Chess and bawo respectively in Mzuzu University Vice Chancellors Trophy. Political Career Vigilant attended a democracy training facilitated by Fr Ryan a lecture at Mzuzu University. Vigilant made important contributions to the theory of liberal democracy. In his participation during training Vigilant argued that a government’s right to rule must be based on the consent of its people. Vigilant emphasized the idea of a ‘social contract’ power sanctioned by the people. Vigilant also emphasized that all men were equal at a time, when societies were very hierarchical.

Motivation Vigilant wants to become the richest person in Malawi by 2030.
