After I earned a BSc in General Science at Portland State University I began an internship at the Future Worlds Center (legally reg. Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute), an NGO based in Nicosia, Cyprus. I work primarily with the Future Worlds Center’s Global Education Unit, and have participated in several EU funded projects, including: Civil Society Acts Beyond Borders, the Youth of the World!, and World From Our Doorstep. Through these projects I promoted social innovation, and assisted in the development and implementation of learner centered, global focused eduction, and promotion of youth work in Europe, and bi-communal initiatives in Cyprus, Israel and Palestine. These and other experiences have whet my desire to pursue a career which capitalized my intercultural and interpersonal communication, social innovation, and creative problem solving competencies. Soon I was hired as Project Officer with the E.U. funded Youth of the World! project.

In 2014, as a full-fellowship recipient, I began graduate studies at Central European University in Public Policy. As part of my graduate education I completed an original thesis on maritime policy and ship registration in the European Union, titled 'For Sale: Flags of Convenience and the Commodification of Sovereignty in the E.U.'. My studies culminated in June 2015 with the award of an MA in Public Policy.
