My name is Lina Maria, I am from Colombia and I am 31 years old. I am political scientist and I have two master degrees in International Studies and International Development. For the last 9 years I have worked in development and cooperation areas, mainly in topics related to social and economic empowerment of vulnerable communities. At the present time I am working by Oxfam International as knowledge management officer in a regional strategy of sustainable food systems. I am also have worked by the United Nations Development Program at regional at national level, supporting the formulation and implementation of different projects which main objective was to support the reduction of poverty and promotion of human development through building capacities. I have a large experience in knowledge management, monitoring and evaluating process and planning strategic. Besides my work experience with international organizations I also worked in the department of prevention of forced displacement of the presidential agency for poverty reduction called Accion Social. Thanks to my experience and my leadership skills I was awarded by the Colombian government with the scholarship program Colfuturo and also I was awarded by the British government and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office with the Chevening scholarship program. During 2015 I was selected by the Korean International Agency Cooperation Koica, as delegate for Colombia in a training course about local development and creation of self-reliant local communities.
