Shadow Participants

The Shadow Participants are very important actors of the Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era project funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund. They are those individuals who were originally chosen by Core Participants to join the initiative because of their special interests and commitment to the vision. Since each Core Participant has engaged 10 Shadow Participants their total number is at least 1000. The Shadow participants, once selected, have all the rights to participate on equal footing with the Core Participants except that they do not join the face-to-face meetings.
