For example, she did an internship with a local anti-corruption NGO called “Sakker el Dekkenne”. It became clearer for her after this internship how corrupt Lebanon is and how much it lacks transparency. In addition to that, she did another internship at the Ministry of Environment (MoE) in Beirut, as well as several student jobs, one of which regarding child marriage in Lebanon among locals and refugees. Nour Makhlouf is a Shadow Participant of Karim Chalhoub. Nour Makhlouf is 21 year old Lebanese citizen and was born in Lebanon on February 8th, 1996 and has just graduated a couple of days ago from the “Université Saint Joseph” in Beirut with a Bachelor Degree in Political and Administrative Sciences. She chose this major because he have always believed in the power of democracy and she also wanted to learn more about it and see how it could be implemented in war-torn or divided countries such as Lebanon.
