Mariana Rojas is one of the Core Participants of the American SDDP of the Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era project.

Her Peer Empowerment and Support Mentors is Uffe Vieira.

Mariana Rojas is from Colombia and is a political scientist at the Rosario University in Bogotá. She has worked with victims of the Colombian armed conflict, and has experience in developing vulnerable communities. Mariana also has experience in the public and private sector, and is currently working with processes of true, justice and reparation. Her academic interests lie in alternative mechanisms of participation and peacebuilding such as art and culture, as well as work with armed groups and victims of violence. She’s currently a member of La Panga collective. She participated in the workshop Reinventing Democracy in Latin America in 2016.
