The Core Participants are the main actors of the Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era project funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund. They are those individuals who will participate in the Five Regional SDDPs. In each SDDP there will be 20-25 Core Participants, thus bringing their total number between 100-125.

Every Core Participant is backed up by 10 Shadow Participant and is supported by three Mentors.
