Short Bio

Abraham Jeff Ndambuki is a Peer Empowerment and Support Mentors of the Reinventing Democracy project.

He is the peer mentor of Anna Routova from the European Initiative and Bill Graham Osei Akomea from the African Initiative.


Abraham Jeff Ndambuki is currently doing his degree in (BA) Business Economics, at European University Cyprus. He has successfully worked alongside NGOs such as Cardet and Synthesis in Cyprus and has participated in trainings and seminars on team-building and communication as well as global sustainable development under the flagship of Global Campus in Cardet. Abraham, has also recently done a group project competition for Ernest and Young Company in Cyprus on January 2016, and was successfully awarded the first position and an opportunity to do a summer internship at the company this year. Adding to that, Abraham has been involved in various other professional internships, such as working with Equity Bank Kenya, and Professional Marketing Services Kenya. He has also taken part in various prestigious training programmes, such as the GYLC-Global Young Leaders conference in the year 2013 at Washington Dc and New York.


Main Interests

  • Developing financial competencies for citizens of a country, through the effective and proper utilization of online learning and digital literacy programmes.
  • Strengthening of the democratic system of governance through the adequate implementation of legal systems of administration and legislation functions within the government. Through minimisation of bureaucracy and maximisation of service efficiency by adapting sustainable methods.
  • Youth training on global leadership and increasing awareness of current global economic and political events.

Work experience

Abraham, has managed to take part in various projects as well as work experiences:

  • Participant at the youth and adult education programme launched by the organisation Synthesis and Cardet in Cyprus.
  • Abraham has also actively taken part in the Global campus sustainable development and work shop programme.
  • Participated in the East African Model United nations training.
  • Trainee at the Global Young Leaders conference in Washington Dc and New York.
  • Abraham will also be working as an intern for Ernest and Young Cyprus in June this year.
  • Intern at the Equity Bank of kenya.
  • Intern at professional marketing services company in kenya.
