Marco De Cave is a Peer Empowerment and Support Mentors of the Reinventing Democracy project.

He is the peer mentor of Viktoria Pomazova from the European Initiative and Daniel Ehagi from the African Initiative.

Short Bio

Marco has a master in Peace and Development Work from Linnaeus University (Växjö, Sweden), and a Bachelor in International Cooperation from Sapienza University of Rome. He was a council state-man for youth in his town-hall for 3 years (2008-2011), developing programmes to include youth with fewer opportunities. He has worked with different NGOs (such as the Red Cross in Denmark and Italy, or the Italian national anti-discrimination youth association NeAR). He holds a diploma in web-reporting and in storytelling (National Federation of Unions of Writers). At the moment, he trains and prepares youth involved with Futuro Digitale association, his current main organisation. He is an activist in different fields, like anti-discrimination and environmental issues, poetry and social inclusion. He has a solid background in youth work as a trainer and a strong involvement in democratic issues.
